UPDATE: Chris Matthews Back Tracks On "Enemy Camp" Comment, Sort Of Anyway

Chris Matthews called the future military leaders at West Point the "enemy camp" after President Obama's speech. He later thinks he may have used the wrong phrase, but then goes on to to ponder what you call it. So in reality he is open to the label. As to the Dick Cheney comments, Matthews could not stand toe to toe with Cheney in a fairly run debate. Matthews neanderthal intellect would be totally out classed.

Maurice Clemmons Just Another Misunderstood Muslim?

My initial thought was when I heard about four police officers being killed in cold blood was that Islam had something to do with it. Now it looks like my initial reaction has been confirmed.

"“Who is your favorite officer down?” Seattle Black Foot Soldier Alfred “Issaquah” Shafford asked a rally to celebrate (what’s being called) “the blow against the white terrorist racism of the Washington State Police Regime” at the Steele Street Forza Coffee House.

The hero of the gathering was Maurice Clemens, who had shot and killed four police officers at another Forza Coffee House – - this one on a side street in Tacoma, Washington, near the McChord Air Base.

Some Black Muslims in response to Issaquah’s query, cried out, “Greg Richards.”

Others opted for either Mark Renninger, Tina Griswold, or Ronald Owens.

All four Lakewood County police officers had been shot and killed by Maurice Clemmons, an ex-con and alleged member of the Nation of Islam with a long rap sheet of violent crimes.

Clemmons, after a long manhunt, was shot and killed by a Seattle cop in a south Seattle neighborhood at 2:45 a.m. this morning.

The rally was held by the Black Foot Soldiers Movement, an offshoot of the Nation of Islam, to map out plans for a street penitentiary protest and street party that will be held to disrespect tributes, memorials and funerals whites are expected to have for the terrorists..."

How long before they target civilians at the coffee shop or your church? Is President Obama's appeasement of this false and evil religion making you feel safer now?

Global Warming Alarmism Proved Profitable For Those Ringing The Bell

Remember how Liberals use to attack Conservatives on any war effort by calling on people to "follow the money"? Well maybe it is time to turn the tables on the global warming alarmist crowd and "follow the money" to see who is profiting from the hysteria they have created. The Wall Street Journal has done a little investigating into this.

"But the deeper question is why the scientists behaved this way to begin with, especially since the science behind man-made global warming is said to be firmly settled. To answer the question, it helps to turn the alarmists' follow-the-money methods right back at them.

Consider the case of Phil Jones, the director of the CRU and the man at the heart of climategate. According to one of the documents hacked from his center, between 2000 and 2006 Mr. Jones was the recipient (or co-recipient) of some $19 million worth of research grants, a sixfold increase over what he'd been awarded in the 1990s.

Why did the money pour in so quickly? Because the climate alarm kept ringing so loudly: The louder the alarm, the greater the sums. And who better to ring it than people like Mr. Jones, one of its likeliest beneficiaries?

Thus, the European Commission's most recent appropriation for climate research comes to nearly $3 billion, and that's not counting funds from the EU's member governments. In the U.S., the House intends to spend $1.3 billion on NASA's climate efforts, $400 million on NOAA's, and another $300 million for the National Science Foundation. The states also have a piece of the action, with California—apparently not feeling bankrupt enough—devoting $600 million to their own climate initiative. In Australia, alarmists have their own Department of Climate Change at their funding disposal.

And all this is only a fraction of the $94 billion that HSBC Bank estimates has been spent globally this year on what it calls "green stimulus"—largely ethanol and other alternative energy schemes—of the kind from which Al Gore and his partners at Kleiner Perkins hope to profit handsomely..."

America's own Al Gore has almost become a billionaire propagating this junk science on us. Not to mention his Academy Award for his "documentary" on global warming. Looks for the Left to dig in their heels and even over reach in their defense of this nonsense.

Four Cops Killed By A Man Mike Huckabee Let Out Of Prison

For now the big news about this horrific murderous act is that former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee commuted the sentence of this killer.

"A 37-year-old Tacoma man, Maurice Clemmons, is being sought for questioning in the execution-style shooting of four Lakewood police officers this morning, according to two law-enforcement sources.

Clemmons, who was recently released from jail, has an extensive criminal record in Pierce County and Arkansas, court records show. Clemmons is wanted in Arkansas and faces eight criminal charges in Washington state.

While governor of Arkansas, 2008 Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckebee paroled a violent repeat offender by that same name as noted in this 2004 article:

Maurice Clemmons received a 35-year sentence in the early 1990s for armed robbery and theft. His sentence was commuted in May 2000, and he was let out three months later.

The following March, Clem-mons committed two armed robberies and other crimes and was sentenced to 10 years. You'd think they'd keep him locked up after that, but no: He was paroled last March and is now wanted for aggravated robbery.

If Huckabee decides to set these criminals free, Jegley says, at least "he ought to give an accounting. I can't imagine why in the world they'd want them released from jail. There's a good reason we're afraid of them. The sad truth is that a significant number of people re-offend."

The victims' families, Jegley says, "deserve an explanation. I look into people's eyes who've suffered the unspeakable. I believe they deserve justice.

If Huckabee—now a Fox News personality—did set this man free, his aspirations for a future White House run may be over.

The Associated Press Acknowledges That Liberals Are The Heart Of The Democratic Party As The ObamaCare Debate Begins

It looks like Monday will be the start of the Senate's debate over ObamaCare. What surprised me in this article is that the Associated Press actually acknowledged that Liberals are the heart of the Democratic Party.

"The 60 votes aren't there any more.

With the Senate set to begin debate Monday on health care overhaul, the all-hands-on-deck Democratic coalition that allowed the bill to advance is fracturing.

Some Democratic senators say they'll jump ship without tighter restrictions on abortion coverage. Others say they'll go unless a government plan to compete with private insurance companies gets tossed. Such concessions would enrage liberals, the heart and soul of the party.

There's no clear course for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., to steer legislation through Congress to President Barack Obama. You can't make history unless you reach 60 votes, and don't count on Republicans helping him.

But Reid is determined to avoid being remembered as another Democrat who tried and failed to make health care access for the middle class a part of America's social safety net..."

Maybe they feel safe acknowledging it now that the Democratic Party has become even more radicalized by President Obama and his Marxist sympathizers. If the Liberal media ever acknowledges how radicals constitute the heart of the Democratic Party we will know that they will have embraced tyranny.

Valero Refinery In Delaware To Shut Down, Thank The Union For Supporting Obama

News of refineries shutting down in the United States is not good, particularly since I work at one. In Delaware, Valero is shutting down one of it's refineries.

" Valero Energy Corp., the largest U.S. refiner, said it will permanently close its Delaware City, Delaware, plant because of mounting losses after the recession eroded demand for gasoline and diesel.

The shutdown will affect 550 employees and will result in a fourth-quarter charge of $1.7 billion to $1.8 billion, Valero said today in a statement. Company spokesman Bill Day said the plant has lost $1 million a day this year.

The Delaware plant is the third and largest U.S. refinery to be shuttered this year because of evaporating profit margins. San Antonio-based Valero acquired the plant through its 2005 purchase of Premcor Inc., a deal that gave the company the largest U.S. capacity to process heavy, cheap grades of crude. Discounts on such crudes relative to lighter grades have narrowed this year amid increasing heavy-oil capacity..."

I suspect their union leadership supported only Democrats in 2008, including President Obama. When good paying blue collar jobs are destroyed because of this Administration, I hope that many hard working men and women will see that the Democrats could care less about them. These jobs are being sacrificed at the alter of global warming, I hope mine is not going to be one of them. We just bought a house this past May and my wife is pregnant with twins.

News was breaking a few days ago that ACORN had dumped thousands of documents in the trash at it's Los Angeles location. Shockingly, well not really, California's Attorney General seems to have little concern about it.

Why is this poll and its results relevant to your investigation of ACORN and of this latest news that the office you announced you would be investigating trashed over 20,000 documents in the dark of night right before your investigators came down to visit?

Why does an opinion poll even enter into the discussion during the first minute of the Attorney General’s interview about an ongoing investigation?

And, why is more time spent in this interview on the constitutional rights of ACORN with regard to their trash and speculation over who hired Private Investigator Derrick Roach, instead of the activities of this ACORN office?

Mr. Brown, if this is how you conduct yourself as the chief law enforcement officer for the State of California, how seriously will you conduct your duties as Governor?"

More reason to think that 2010 will be a do or die election for American Democracy. If ACORN is still registering thousands of dead people, cartoon characters, and people's pets to vote, you can bet that these Totalitarian Democrats will be unstoppable.

Science Czar John Holdren Connects Global Warming With Population Control

The growing awareness that the radicals pushing the fear of global warming on us are frauds has also shed more light on President Obama's Science Czar, John Holdren. If you recall, Holdren is a believer in population control and eugenics, even flirting with the idea of forced abortions. Now we also know, thanks to the reporting of the Canada Free Press and Newsbusters, that Holdren is also involved in ClimateGate.

"Lift up a rock and another snake comes slithering out from the ongoing University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) scandal, now riding as “Climategate”.

Obama Science Czar John Holdren is directly involved in CRU’s unfolding Climategate scandal. In fact, according to files released by a CEU hacker or whistleblower, Holdren is involved in what Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball terms “a truculent and nasty manner that provides a brief demonstration of his lack of understanding, commitment on faith and willingness to ridicule and bully people”.

“The files contain so much material that it is going to take some time t o put it all in context,” says Ball. “However, enough is already known to underscore their explosive nature. It is already clear the entire claims and positions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are based on falsified manipulated material and is therefore completely compromised.

“The fallout will be extensive as material continues to emerge. Reputations of the scientists involved are already destroyed, however fringe players will continue to be identified and their reputations destroyed or sullied.”

While the mainstream media is bending into pretzels to keep the scandal under the rug, Climategate is already the biggest scientific scandal in history because of the global policy implications..."

Many of my global warming posts are cross labeled under global government as well because they are intimately connected. Revelations about Holdren prove that now. If one is pushing a global problem then it requires a global solution and the "threat" of global warming offers global governance on a silver platter. The midterm election in 2010 is going to be one of the most critical midterm elections in history of this country. If Republicans cannot pick up enough seats in the Senate to stop the Democrats radical agenda then I think American will cease being a sovereign nation in the near future.

Obama Bows To Islam With His Hajj And Eid-ul-Adha Greeting This Thanksgiving

Do you want to contrast how far we have drifted since the founding of this country? No longer are our President's sympathetic to the Christian influence that was at least culturally accepted with our founding, but now one particular President is assaulting that influence. Here are the words of President Washington's Thanksgiving Proclamation.

The Manhattan Declaration's Ecumenicalism Is It's Achilles Heel

The number of people putting their names to the Manhattan Declaration is growing fast, but the ecumenical drive within it ought to concern Christians.

"We are Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call upon our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. These truths are:

1. the sanctity of human life
2. the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife
3. the rights of conscience and religious liberty."

While Christians should not be opposed with working together with those of similar values, I have serious doubts that an Orthodox Catholic and an Orthodox Evangelical have much in common in terms of theology. Those who are signing this, and those who wrote it are rightfully reacting to the Liberal assault on traditional Christian morality, but minimizing profound theological differences is not necessary to mount a counter offensive. I realize we may all soon need each other as President Obama and his radical Administration would like to silence anyone committed to an objective truth that can check the State's power. As Christians, lets not set aside our theology in order to work with others with the same concern.

Obama Now Going To Copenhagen To Head Off ClimateGate?

Here is an interesting video where Competitive Enterprise Institute's, Chris Horner, claims President Obama is now going to Copenhagen to ram the global warming agenda down our throats.



Horner references when Obama said he wants to make our energy costs skyrocket and here is a reminder.



Seems like raising the energy costs on every American family shows that Democrats are not really for the working man or woman. Lets start holding trees hostage until this nonsense stops...

Obama's Climate Czar Is Not Concerned About The Facts Involving ClimateGate

One of the many things that will come out of the growing ClimateGate scandal is this: proof that Liberals/Democrats are not concerned about facts and how they relate to reality. This is evident by Obama's Climate Czar, Carol Browner, saying that revelations about hacked emails showing that we have been mislead about global warming makes no difference to her.

"Obama administration climate czar Carol Browner on Wednesday rejected claims that e-mails stolen from a British university show climate scientists trumped up global warming numbers, saying she considers the science settled.

"I'm sticking with the 2,500 scientists. These people have been studying this issue for a very long time and agree this problem is real," said Ms. Browner, who President Obama has tapped as his chief of policy on global warming.

The e-mails were hacked from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and have come to light over the last week. They appear to show scientists saying they've smoothed over data that doesn't back up their claims of warming, and pondering how to freeze out scientists who disagree with them.

Release of the e-mails has fueled skeptics ahead of next month's major global warming meeting in Copenhagen, which is supposed to set the framework for a new global treaty to restrict greenhouse gas emissions..."

Scaring people about global warming has always been about power and not facts. Stay tuned to see what happens with this. I think the more global warming is met with skepticism, the more Liberals will seek to grab massive amounts of control over our lives.
