UPDATE: Anti-Life Feminists Respond To The Tebow Ad

I posted here that the Tebow ad was rather benign and I think the most controversial part came at the end with the words:



Yes, celebrating family and life is intolerable to Liberals and pro-abortion absolutists.

There are several anti-life feminist blogs responding to the Tebow ad now that it has been seen:

One thing I have concluded from interacting with Liberal blogs and particularly feminist ones, is that it may be just a matter of time before abortion is determined at the state level. Feminists are incapable of putting forward arguments for abortion that do not apply to every one of us regardless of our location. Plus, pro-abortion absolutists are dealing with ever advanced technology that shows us the humanity of the unborn.

Cantankerous Congressman John Murtha Is Dead At 77

"A spokesman says Democratic Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, a retired Marine Corps officer who became an outspoken critic of the Iraq war, has died. He was 77.

He had been suffering complications from gallbladder surgery.

In 1974, Murtha became the first combat veteran of the Vietnam War elected to Congress. He wielded considerable clout for two decades as a leader of the House subcommittee that oversees Pentagon spending. But frustration over the Iraq war led him to call for an immediate pullout of U.S. troops in 2005.

Murtha's congressional career was clouded by questions about his ethics — from the Abscam corruption probe in 1980 to more recent investigations into the special-interest spending known as earmarks and the raising of cash for election campaigns.

Writing a few notes on a hand pails in comparison to needing a teleprompter every one goes like President Obama. At least now Mitchell can no longer claim to be objective in her "reporting". At least there are other "journalists" in the media willing to take on President Obama's reliance on the teleprompter.

San Francisco School Board Faces Budget Crisis But May Add Pro-Gay Program

The school board in San Francisco is facing a financial crisis like most other cities. While being forced to make cuts the school board may fund a new pro-gay program. From the San Francisco Chronicle:

"With everything from art classes, summer school and jobs on the chopping block this year, the San Francisco school board will decide this week whether to greatly expand school services, support and instruction on issues of sexual orientation.

The decision could cost the school district, which is facing a $113 million budget shortfall over the next two years, at least $120,000 a year - enough cash to cover the salaries of two classroom teachers.

The school board is expected to vote Tuesday on the fiscally controversial resolution calling for San Francisco Unified to add a new full-time staffer to manage "lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning" youth issues in the district's Student Support Services Department.

It also would require the district to track harassment and discrimination based on sexual orientation and distribute an educational packet to parents, encouraging them to discuss "the issues of sexuality, gender identity and safety" with their children..."

Seems like another good reason to homeschool your kids.

Citizens Revolting Against California's Global Warming Law

It looks like there will be an initiative on California's ballot in 2010 that would delay the implementation of the Global Warming Law. From the LA Times:

"Republican politicians and conservative activists are launching a ballot campaign to suspend California's landmark global-warming law, in what they hope will serve as a showcase for a national backlash against climate regulations.

Supporters say they have "solid commitments" of nearly $600,000 to pay signature gatherers for a November initiative aimed at delaying curbs on the greenhouse gas emissions of power plants and factories until the state's unemployment rate drops.

GOP gubernatorial candidates and Tea Party organizers paint the 2006 law, considered a model for other state and federal efforts, as a job-killing interference in the economy. Talk radio is flailing at what John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou, drive-time hosts on Los Angeles' KFI-AM (640), call "the global-warming final solution act" promoted by "fascist, Nazi" officials.

"We are on fire," said Assemblyman Dan Logue (R-Marysville), a sponsor of the proposed initiative. "People are calling from all over the country. This will be the most intense campaign the state has seen in 50 years."

Mary D. Nichols, chairwoman of the state's Air Resources Board, which is implementing the law, known as AB 32, called the initiative "a campaign that has to be taken seriously."

"It would put all our efforts at energy efficiency and renewable energy in the deep freezer for a long time," she said.

The measure would halt proposed regulations until the state's jobless rate dips to 5.5% or below for a year. That's a level that California has not seen since 2007. California has one of the nation's highest unemployment rates: 12.4%..."

UPDATE: Boehner Calls For Anti-Catholic Harry Knox To Resign

Congressman Boehner has rightfully called for the resignation of gay activist Harry Knox who is part of President Obama's Faith Based Council.

"House Minority Leader John Boehner (R.-Ohio) said today that Harry Knox, who serves on President Barack Obama’s faith-based advisory council, appears to be an “anti-Catholic bigot” and should resign as a White House adviser.

Earlier this week, Knox said he stood by a statement he made last year that Pope Benedict XVI is “hurting people in the name of Jesus” because the pope does not support promoting the use of condoms as a means to stem the spread of HIV."

Earlier, Harry Knox affirms his claim that the Pope's views are hurting people.

Gay Bishop V. Gene Robinson Says The Apostle Paul Did Not Condemn Homosexuality

From CNS News we learn that Bishop V. Gene Robinson, who is gay, thinks that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality.

In a section of his New Testament letter to the Romans (1:22-27) dealing with God’s admonitions against same-sex relations, St. Paul was actually writing about heterosexuals who engage in same-sex acts and not homosexuals, said the Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson, the first openly gay bishop in the Episcopal church.

“We have to understand that the notion of a homosexual sexual orientation is a notion that’s only about 125 years old," Bishop Robinson told CNSNews.com. "That is to say, St. Paul was talking about people that he understood to be heterosexual engaging in same-sex acts. It never occurred to anyone in ancient times that a certain minority of us would be born being affectionally oriented to people of the same sex.”

And the verse in question:

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. Robert Gagnon is a man who has studied what the Bible has to say about homosexuality and provides an in depth refutation to Robinson, even though he not not responding directly to Robinson.

The Feministe Blog Banned Me; Why Are Liberals So Close Minded?

I would think that part of the reason people blog, I know it why I blog, is to engage those who disagree with our views. Sadly, this is not what Liberal blogs are about. I have had two instances now of getting banned from posting comments on Liberal blogs. The first was at Little Green Footballs and I documented that instance. The latest example comes from the blog Feministe. Here some of the exchanges before I was banned from leaving more comments. You decide if it was warranted or not.

First is my initial comment and then the responses I received:









It seems to be increasingly clear that Liberals are the ones who are truly close minded and intolerant of others. There was an attempt by a few other people leaving comments to engage me at the level of ideas rather than hurling personal attacks, but I was still banned in the end.

Pro-Abortion Democrats Hold Views That Could Justify Slavery And The Holocaust (Video)

Here is a powerful video that demonstrates what happens when a society arbitrarily decides that human life is not intrinsically valuable. Any argument that justifies abortion today could be used to justify the holding of slaves and the murder of Jews.



We are all created in the image of God and have value that is not determined by the whimsical decision of one person, a society, or a government.

Sean James and Al Joyner Support The Genocide Of African Americans With Their Planned Parenthood Ad

It is truly a sad day when African Americans actually enable Planned Parenthood to kill minority babies at an alarming rate. Sean James and Al Joyner have been co-opted by Planned Parenthood's propaganda and are now willing participants in the genocide of their own race. Life News has the story:

"Olympic Gold Medalist Al Joyner and former NFL football player Sean James have issued a pro-abortion video in response to the forthcoming Super Bowl ad featuring the pro-life birth story of college football star Tim Tebow.

Joyner, the brother of Olympic track star Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and James, who played for the Minnesota Vikings, issued the video for Planned Parenthood -- the nation's largest abortion business.

The men focus on the "respect for women's choices" in the video, meant to promote abortion in advance of the Focus on the Family ad touting Pam Tebow's pro-life "choice" to not have one.

In the video, James refers to the Focus ad featuring the Tebows and says "I respect and honor Mrs. Tebow's decision."

"My mom showed me that women are strong and wise," James continues. "She taught me that only women can make the best decisions about their health and their future."

"We're working toward the day when every woman will be valued; where every woman's decision about her health and her family will be trusted and respected," James says, talking about the push to keep abortions legal.

Joyner follows and says: "I want my daughter to live in a world where everyone's decision is respected."

"My daughter will always be my little girl," Joyner says in the Planned Parenthood video. "But I am proud of her everyday as I watch her grow up to be her own person, a smart, confident young woman. I trust her to take care of herself."

"We celebrate our families by supporting our mothers, by supporting our daughters," says Joyner. "By trusting women."

The video concludes with the logo of Planned Parenthood, the nation's most prominent abortion business..."

And the video:



These African American stars are denying that we are all created in the image of God and have intrinsic value as a result.

They ground the value of life in the arbitrary choice of the powerful over the powerless. James and Joyner must be unaware that Planned Parenthood wants to kill the poor through abortion, and to honor their Nazi sympathizing founder and eugenics supporter Margaret Sanger.



James and Joyner have just legitimized a view of human personhood that could easily justify slavery and the Holocaust by grounding it in the "choice" of another human being.



The sad thing is, I doubt James and Joyner are even aware of Planned Parenthood's eugenic foundation.

The feminist rage continues at CBS for going ahead with plans to air a pro-life ad. I think that the rage is mainly because these pro-abortion absolutists are unable to stop the ad and that women will see that there is an alternative to killing her unborn baby.

It is being reported by CNS News that one of the members of President Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, Harry Knox, is attacking the Pope.

When asked on Tuesday whether he still holds that view that the pope "is hurting people in the name of Jesus," Knox said, “I do.” In addition to advising President Obama on the government's Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnership programs, Knox is the director of the religion and faith program at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a homosexual activist group..."

Harry Knox is another Religious Liberal who is seeking to redefine what sin is to make it a self referentially incoherent notion. Knox actually thinks that homosexuality is not condemned in the Bible. This no surprise since Knox is an activist for the homosexual agenda. Religious Liberals and Democrats are implementing the pagan religious practices associated with Baal Worship. God help us.

Obama Needs To Tax Katie Couric's Extreme Wealth

I guess it takes massive layoffs at news organizations before Liberals start applying their judgments of others to themselves. Newsbusters is reporting that Katie Couric makes $14 million a year, roughly $300,000 a week while other journalists are getting laid off.

"Katie Couric may be getting a taste of her own populist medicine. When the Dow hit 10,000 last October, she (and other network news personalities) used the opportunity to bemoan massive payments to Wall Street bankers. But now the populist sentiment has turned on her. She faces dramatic pay cuts as CBS News downsizes.

Couric, shown in a, er, file photo at right, "makes enough to pay 200 news reporters $75,000 a year! It's complete insanity," one CBS News insider told the Drudge Report. "We report with great enthusiasm how much bankers are making, how it is out of step with reality during a recession. Well look at Katie!"

The employee was referring to Couric's roughly $14 million annual salary, the highest in network news. That salary may be cut dramatically in the face of massive layoffs at CBS News branches in Washington, San Francisco, Miami, London, Los Angeles and Moscow."

I wonder if Couric will claim sexism instead of taking a pay cut?

Keep "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Because Gay Men Spread HIV

You want the number one reason to keep the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy? Gay men account for the number one group of new HIV and AIDS cases in America.

"The U.S. Center for Disease Control has issued a fact sheet which says that 54% of HIV infections among males, aged 13-29, were caused by homosexual contact in 2006. This is opposed to 34% of infections caused by heterosexual contact in the same demographic.

“From 2001 through 2006, male-to-male sex was the largest HIV transmission category in the United States and the only one associated with an increasing number of HIV/AIDS diagnoses,” the fact sheet said.

The article further states that 77% of HIV positive homosexual men between the ages of 15 and 29 do not know that they are infected.

The demographic of young adult homosexual males between the ages of 13 and 29 is the only noticeably growing demographic in terms of HIV infection. The other age demographics seem reasonably stable in comparison says the CDC."

New Federal "Hate Crimes" Law To Be Challenged

The bill that President Obama signed into law that made the sin of homosexuality a unquestionable public right is being challenged in court. CNS News reports:

"A conservative civil liberties group is challenging the constitutionality of the recently enacted federal Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009.

The new law, attached to a defense authorization bill that President Obama signed on October 28, 2009, makes it a federal crime to attack someone because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The Michigan-based Thomas More Law Center says it elevates people engaged in deviant sexual behaviors to a special, protected class of persons under federal law.

The lawsuit naming U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on behalf of three pastors and the president of the American Family Association of Michigan.

All of the plaintiffs “take a strong public stand against the homosexual agenda, which seeks to normalize disordered sexual behavior that is contrary to Biblical teaching,” the Law Center said in a news release.

“There is no legitimate law enforcement need for this federal law,’ said Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center..."

It makes no sense for the government to promote a sexual behavior that is leading cause in spreading the HIV virus. Further, this is why Christians ought not vote for Democrats because the Party is promoting a sin that is dangerous to the public's health. The Democrats also support those who would seek to indoctrinate your children into accepting homosexuality as normal sexual activity. This cannot but lead to the persecution of Christians who remain faithful to Jesus Christ and call on those who sin to repent of their sin.

Liberal National Prayer Breakfast Is More Inclusive, Of Sin That Is

The Christian Post is reporting that the Religious Left is having their own national prayer breakfast. The politically correct language of "inclusiveness" is front and center.

"Pro-gay activists and church leaders are touting an alternative "inclusive" prayer event to this year's National Prayer Breakfast.

Called "The American Prayer Hour," the event on Feb. 4 is being held in protest of Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Bill. Organizers claim that the "secretive fundamentalist organization" – The Fellowship Foundation, also known as The Family – behind the annual National Prayer Breakfast is directly tied to the bill.

"The American Prayer Hour events will affirm inclusive values and call on all nations, including Uganda, to decriminalize the lives of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people," organizers state.

Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Bill has drawn widesprd criticism from around the world, including Christians in the U.S. The proposed legislation seeks to strengthen the criminalization of homosexuality by introducing the death penalty for people who are considered serial offenders, are suspected of "aggravated homosexuality" and are HIV-positive, or who engage in sexual acts with those under 18 years of age.

The bill also targets those who do not report a homosexual within 24 hours of knowledge, which places parents, teachers, landlords, health care workers, media and religious leaders who counsel or work with HIV/AIDS infected persons at risk of imprisonment..."

I think the concern about Uganda's Anti-Homosexual Bill is justified and is a troubling development. But the other extreme is encouraging homosexuality like in America by affirming gay marriage and gay rights. And do not be fooled by the rhetoric of "inclusiveness" all that does is give Liberals power to label those who do not agree with their agenda as close minded, intolerant and bigoted, when in fact Liberals are close minded, intolerant and bigoted towards Jesus Christ. Homosexuality is a sin and I think governments need to find a way not to imprison homosexuals on one extreme and not promote it on the other extreme. We all need to repent of our sin, not embrace it by ceasing to call it what it is. The denial of sin as sin is a rejection of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who called us to repent, and it mocks the death of Jesus on the cross for our sin.

Steve Poizner Is Running To Be California's Governor?

The news today that Steve Poizner is accusing Meg Whitman of dirty politics made me realize that Whitman actually had a Republican opponent.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner today accused GOP frontrunner Meg Whitman of illegally trying to force him from the race.

Poizner released an e-mail from Whitman campaign strategist Mike Murphy, saying Whitman was ready to spend $40 million or more “tearing up Steve” if he remained in the race. Whitman is the billionaire former CEO of eBay.

However, if Poizner dropped out, Murphy wrote, “We could unite the entire party behind Steve right now to build a serious race against (Sen.) Dianne F(einstein) in 2002.”

It is not clear if the accusations are founded or not, but now we know here in California that Steve Poizner is running for Governor. I did not know that prior to today and I consider myself someone up to date on the political scene. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
